Tonight’s wine selection was a fantastic bottle of Oak Leaf Merlot (Walmart - $2.69). The nose is mostly black-pepper, with a little bit of tennis ball. It’s extremely dry and burns my tongue a little bit. Lots of grape, lots of cherry. I feel like this way does little more than getting the job done.

At least some people think it’s slightly better than fermented Welch’s. All in all, not a bad way to spend three bones.
